About:Changbai Mountain

is it possible to do a DIY trip to Chanbaishan from Harbin alone?

i have read some blogs saying that it is not advisable, others even saying that it is impossible to reach Changbaishan through a DIY. I will be coming from Harbin and plan on hiking it on the 24th of Decemeber. will it be crowded during this time?

It will be very cold in December so you need to keep warm when hiking. I think it won't be crowded.
