Tourist Visa for China from Kyrgyzstan

Hello. I am native US citizen. I had moved to Kyrgystan for the winter and want to journey throught Xinjiang this summer through the Kyrgyz - China border but I need a tourist L to go to china first. Last I heard it is impossible to get a Visa from china in any of the Stans and I would have to fly all the way back to USA to get a visa. Since I am an expatriate, I have no where to go in the US. Is it still possible to get a visa while living in the Stans or do I have to leave here and come back?

Hi, Carnio, it's possible for you to apply for Chinese visa from Kyrgyzstan as long as you have all right documents. If you still worried, you are advised to call the China embassy to confirm this before you do the application.
