About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Canadian citizen travelling to Beijing (144 hour transit without visa)

I'm a Canadian citizen planning on booking a one way ticket from Bali, Indonesia to BJ, and another one way ticket from BJ to Rome, Italy. Both of these flights will be booked well in advance before entering BJ. Is purchasing two separate tickets allowed under the 144 hour transit without visa regulations? It will show that I have an entry and exit date to and from two different countries and will be in BJ no more than the allocated 144 hours.

Thank you!
