Transit fly from Nanjing

My family and I will be flying to Thailand from USA.
Family members holds 3 different country passports.USA,Turkish,Thai.
Layover will be 9 hours in Nanjing airport and we are not planing to leave the airport.
Does airport have a international transfer area and do any of us need transit visa?
Airlines don't or won't give that information and 4 Chinese consulats and an Ebassy I called won't pick up the phone nor reply to my emails.
Can anyone give me an accurate information please?
Thank you in advance.

USA passport holder can enjoy 24 hr direct transit in Nanjng, and no visa is required. But the Turkish and Thai passport holders cannot enjoy that policy. They need to apply for a regular visa before the trip.

I guess Shangai or big airports like that has an international transit area doesn't require transit visa for Turkish or Thai passports. Am I right?

No. The Turkish or Thai passports holders are required to have the transit visa to have layover in mainland China.
