About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Singapore - shanghai - singapore

Hi,
I hold a German passport but stay in Singapore. I need to go to China for a business trip (3nights) and then fly back to Singapore. Do I need a visa or can I enjoy the 144h free visa exemption?

Singapore - Shanghai - Singapore is not a transit, so you cannot enjoy the exemption. You need a visa for that trip.
