About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a visa to China for this trip

flying into shanghai from UK- spend 2ngts in Shanghai- embark on cruise around japan for 7 ngts - spend a further 2ngts in Shanghai - fly to Dubai for 5 ngts - fly back to uk

You don't need any Chinese visa for the trip because you can enjoy 144 hr free transit in Shanghai in both ways.
