x2 renewal

Question

I am currently on an X2 visa. Do I have to exit the country in order to renew it? And while I'm on my X2 am I allowed to exit the country to maybe go on holiday somewhere?

Hi, you can renew it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China for that. If it's a single entry X2 type, you cannot exit the country to go on holiday.

X2 renewal
