Applying with a temporary state ID

Originally from Indiana but now living and working in Hawaii. I will apply for my Chinese visa right after having applied for a Hawaii state ID. I want to make sure that I will be able to get my Chinese visa with a temporary state ID? There’s not enough time for it to arrive earlier, so i’ll have to use the temporary one.

Hi, Sarah, feel sorry I cannot give you a definite answer about that. You are advised to call the China embassy to inquire this before you make the application.
