Ferry from wanchai pier to central pier

Hai, I'll be staying at Apple Hotel, phoenix apartement lee garden road causewaybay hongkong, yet on the third day I'll be moving to Mui Wo. Would it be more convenient for me with 3 children ages 13, 11, and 6 to take ferry from wanchai pier to go to central pier from our hotel rather than take mtr to central ferry pier? If yes, can anyone show me how to get to wanchai ferry pier from apple hotel? And which ferry to take to central ferry pier?
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
