About:How to Get from Hangzhou to Shanghai

Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG) to Hangzhou

I land at Pudong airport at 4:45am Friday morning. What’s the best way and time to get to the high speed train. I hear the subway is very busy, what should i take to Hongqiao Railway Station?

As I know, there is no public transport available at that time. You can wait till 6:00am to take subway line 2 to Hongqiao Station. Don’t worry! The early subway is not that crowded!
Or you can wait to 8:40am to take the first inter-city bus from PVG to Hangzhou.

If you are not in a hurry, I think the bus from the airport to Hangzhou is a better choice than the bullet train. Btw, no need to book it, just follow the signs to the airport long-distance bus station and buy the tickets.
