Cost of L vs. X visa?

I am going to study (2 months) and also travel (1 month). So I understand I can either get an X through my school or get a tourist L if I show my flights.

What is the price difference between the two visas?

Rudy, no matter which visa you apply for in your country, you need to pay USD140 per person for that.
