We will be in Zhengzhou for 2 weeks.

During this time we want to go to the grottoes and Shaolin Temple. We think staying close to the temple for 2 or 3 night may be nice in order to explore the area. We do not want to be rushed at the grottoes or the temple. What is your recommended itinerary for this and what transportation do you recommend to get there and back? Also, should we go directly from the grottoes to Shaolin or go back to the city each time? Thanks.
