About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

Lijiang Railway station - Bus station - Tiger Leaping Gorge

Hi,
We plan to arrive from Kunming at LJ Railway station at 6.05 or 6.43 or 7.10 a.m. on 1 May, move to Local Transport Service Center Bus Station by city bus and buy a ticket for 8.00 a.m. or 8.30 a.m. bus to Tiger Leaping Gorge for the same day.
Could you help to clarify:
1. What is city bus number from LJ Railway station to Local Transport Service Center Bus Station? What time this bus starts to operate?
2. How far is LJ Railway station from Local Transport Service Center Bus Station by city bus?
3. Is it feasible to purchase the tickets for 8.00 or 8.30 a.m. right before the buses departure? Or there is a risk of no available seats? Do these buses have any specific number?
4. Would you provide a service of bus tickets reservation/purchase?

Bus 18 can take you to the bus station from the railway station and it runs from 7:00 to 20:00. It’s about 7km and takes about 20minutes.

The buses to the gorge doesn’t have specific number, just tell the staff you want to the gorge, they will show you which bus you need to take.

There is possibility that you can’t the tickets will be sold out during the May Day Holiday. You can book it in the official website, just search yunnanpiaowu, you will find it!
