About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Chicago, USA - Shanghai, China - Seoul, Korean

My husband is from South Korea and we are living in USA. On the way to Seoul, we will fly to Shanghai, stay overnight in Shanghai (15 hours layover), and then fly to Seoul in the morning. When we come back, we will fly from Seoul to Shanghai, and stay around Shanghai (including Jiangsu province) for 6 days (142 hours total stay), and then fly back to USA. Is it ok for my husband to go without chinese visa? Thank you!

Hi, your husband can enjoy free transit policy in Shanghai in both ways, and no visa is required for that. Nice trip.
