About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Use 144 hour visa 2 times in 1 month

Hi,

I will visit friends in Shanghai from 10-14th of May (I am entering from Amsterdam). From the 14-27th of May I will visit Malaysia. On the 27th of May we have a 24 hour layover on Shanghai before departing to Amsterdam on the 28th of May. Also during this 2nd visit to Shanghai we want to visit our friends in the city.

Is it possible to use the 144 visa for both visits to China?

hello! I've been thinking the same thing! I'm travelling Dublin - Beijing - North korea -

Beijing , South Korea - then back to Beijing to Dublin!

Any help appreciated

Dennis, Rion, both of you can use 2 or more free transit in mainland China. No visa is needed. Nice trip.

Technically as many as you want. 144 hours resets once you leave. I you wanted to you could
Amsterdam > Shanghai > Hong Kong
Hong Kong > Shanghai > Macau
Macau > Beijing > Malaysia
Malaysia > Beijing > Amsterdam.
