I have S1 visa.Is it possible to change it X1?

i have s1 and 1 year residence permit.Now i stay in beijing .
I wants to study in beijing. Is it possible to change my visa without going home. now i need x1. can i apply for my x1 in beijing?

It's possible to change the S1 type into a X1 type at the local PSB within China. Just give it a try.

You could prepare your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, residence permit, admission letter and JW form from the school as well as the physical examination record.
