Visa for 3 week internship

My child is a university student who is hoping to spend 3 weeks interning in Hong Kong followed by a week's holiday. Will a tourist entry permit cover her stay or does she need to apply for a different visa - if so which sort? Many thanks.

Personally I think the tourist visa can cover the stay. But if your child has Ireland passport, she can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 90 days. No visa is required then.
