About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travel Singapore to Beijing

Hello
I am a British citizen who lives in London but I am in Singapore this week only. I would like to visit a friend in Beijing and utilise the TWOC policy for the weekend before going back to London.

I currently have a direct return SIN-LHR on Thursday March 29th. If I change my ticket from SIN-LHR to PEK-LHR for say Sunday April 30th and buy the flight SIN-PEK, is this OK? Thanks.

Sorry typo - I meant to say Sunday April 1st! I will only be staying the weekend.

SIN-PEK-LHR clearly qualifies for 144 hours transit without visa. You must have a confirmed ticket for PEK-LHR before you leave SIN. And your PEK-LHR flight must not stop in SIN or China.
