About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA-Chinese Visa

Hello,

We have been told that it is necessary to show in your passport an old Chinese VISA in order to get a VOA to enter Shenzen. Is that true?
Does anyone know where I can call or who I can contact to confirm this information?
