About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canadian visiting

If I arrive in Shanghai from Korea and leave shanghai to go back to Korea in less then 72 hours. Do I need to do anything before hand?

Korea - Shanghai - Korea is not a transit at all, so you need to apply for a visa for that before the trip.
