stop over

Question

Hi, we have an 8 hour stop over time lapse from 7.00pm to 0200am, is there anything that we can do in this time instead of sitting in a airport terminal. Is our China visa ok in this stop over. Thankyou

Hi, Chengdu downtown is around 30-40 minutes' drive from Shuangliu International Airport. If you want, you can take a taxi to visit the Wide and Narrow Alley or Jinli Street and Wuhou Temple in downtown area. These are all popular tourist spots filled with souvenir stores and local snack shops. If you want to stay at a nearby place, there are some shopping malls near the airport, such as Hualian Mall, you can find restaurants, KTV or cinema there.It is ok to get out of the airport and go to downtown if you have Chinese visa.
