About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa. I am leaving from Houston going to Beijing and will connect in Tokyo for 3 hours.

After staying Beijing for 5 days will go to Japan for 15 days and then back to Houston.
Does the 144 hour visa applies, or my connection in Tokyo is considered as I am arriving from Japan into China?

Hi, Houston-Tokyo-Beijing-Japan-Houston won't qualify for the free transit. You need to apply for a visa or change your itinerary.
