Indian Passport Holder Travelling from Canada to India with lay over at Beijing of 14 hours.

Hi,
I have a urgent question. My Parents are going to travel from Vancouver, Canada to Delhi India through Air China. They have a layover at Beijing for 14:30 Hours. Please suggest if they need a transit visa?
