About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

International Transit in PEK onto a different airline

Connecting International Flight in PEK on a different airline (on a seperate ticket). Do I need to clear immigration, pickup luggage at Arrival Hall and check-in again?
(ULN to PEK on Air China, PEK to Syd on Qantas - 2 separate tickets).

Don’t worry! You don’t need to clear immigration or reclaim the luggage!

if it is separate tickets how airline will know where to transfer the luggage? I'm going to do similar flight arrangement- coming in to BJ to T3 terminal on one ticket and leaving form T2 terminal on the other ticket from two different airlines.

Can someone confirm what is the process?

As I know, the luggage doesn’t need to be claimed in the international transit. Here is the process:
Arrival- Border inspection-security check-custom inspecting-waiting & boarding.
