request for chinese working visa extension

My passport was damaged and my work visa will expire 2 weeks from now. Is it possible to get a via extensionuntil my new passport arrive?

Emardo, I'm afraid you cannot do that because the original passport is required when applying for the extension. If you doubt that, you are advised to contact the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire about the detailed information.
