Hi, Do you know what is the best way to get to Dali from Kunming Normal University?

And not very expensive

Both bus and train can be your choice:
By bus: you can take bus no. 55 to Haiyuan Zhonglukou and change to no. 151. Get off at Western Bus Station. Many buses to DL are available there. It costs CNY110-137 and takes about 6 hours.

By train: walk to Ditaisi and take bus no. Z2 to Kunming University of Science and Technology, then transfer to no. 83 to Kunming Railway Station. Take a train to DL in 6-7 hours. It costs CNY64.5 for a hard seat and CNY105.5 for a hard sleeper.

By the way, you can also take a taxi to either the bus station or train station at a cost of CNY15-20.
