can i travel by train to xian from beijing without special visa?

I will have 144 hours stay in Beijing as visa free traveller from Sweden.What do I need in order to by train make a visit to Xian for 2 Days during my stay in China?

To utilize the 144 hours visa-free transit, you are only allowed to stay in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province. So if you want to travel to Xian, a tourist visa is needed and the visa waiver program doesn't suit for your case.
