About:China Visa

144 hour visa free. Can i apply for this before I fly in Australia

Peter, if you are able to use the 144 hr free transit, you need to inform the airline when you board the flight in Australia, and tell them that you want to use the free transit in Shanghai, and show the tickets and passports at the immigration counter upon arrival to apply for it.
