Requirements For Extension of S1 visa

I am CSC scholarship student from Pakistan in Hunan university, my family has Just arrived on S1 , what are the requirements to extend their S1 For 4 years , is Bank statement compulsory requirement ?

They need to provide passport, passport-style photo, a completed application form, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from you and copy of your passport and residence permit, as well as your relationship certificate and others. You are advised to contact the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to ask if the bank statement is compulsory.
