residence visa

I am non Egyptian and wish to travel to shanghai from Cairo for 4 days and return. Do I need a Egyptian residence visa to apply for the Chinese entry permit and if so for long? 3 months 6 months?

Yes, you need a Egyptian residence visa to apply for it. You may be given 30 days or 60 days. The consular officers will give you proper duration of stay based on your travel itinerary.
