Temporary Resident in China

Hi, I am a temporary resident living in Shanghai. I am travelling home to Australia for a visit in March 2018 and do not have time to renew my passport. I will be in Ausralia for two weeks only, returning to Shanghai first week of April. My passport expires May 28th, 2018. Will I be able to return to China if I have less than 6 months validity on my passport?

Sarah, it's hard to say that because usually, the passport should has a remaining validity of not less than 6 months while the traveling. You are advised to contact the local PSB to inquire if you are able to return to China with less than 6 months validity on passport.
