We are flying to Phuket from NZ and have a 6 hour wait in between flights at Guangzhou.

We've never been to GZ so I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the things to do and food outlets there please.

I see theres the Pullman Hotel, is that something you can go to whilst in transit?

Also is there smoking areas available?
