About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Chicago to Shanghai Pudong airport and then leaving on the thrid day from Pudong to Hong Kong

I am flying from Chicago to Shanghai Pudong airport and then leaving on the thrid day from Pudong to Hong Kong. My passport is up to date> will i qualify for 72 or 144 hour visa? Also the 3 days i am at Shanghai will i be able to visit HangZhou and Suzhou ?
