About:Embassy of Cameroon in China

Passport Renewal - Cameroonian Passport

My friend is now here in the Philippines as a student and his passport will expire by May 2018,
we are planning to go there to renew his passport. We have few questions to ask,
- What are the requirements in renewing his passport?
- How much would be the cost?
- When can he get the new passport? How many days is the waiting time once he applied for renewal? Can he get it right away?
- We are planning to travel by 2nd week of April by that time his passport would be a month valid before it expires, can he be allowed to travel with that?

If you will do that from the embassy of Cameroon in China, the requirements would be passport and its copy, a completed application form, and passport-style photos, residence permit or valid visa, an introduction letter as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary. It may take 10-15 working day for the processing, and you can contact the embassy to confirm this and inquire the cost. If passport would be a month valid before it expires, your friend is not allowed to travel with it.
