About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Fly and Cruise

Hi, We are flying into Shanghai for 3 days before we board a cruise. The cruise departs Shanghai, goes to South Korea then onto Hong Kong 5 days after leaving Shanghai. What visa do we need? What is the cost per person? And where is the best place to obtain entry permit in Sydney?

Katie, you are allowed to use 144h visa-free waiver in Shanghai, and you can apply for it at Shanghai airport. No need to apply for Chinese visa in Sydney.

Thank you Kenny. My travel agent keeps telling me that I need a visa. Do you know where I can find the 144 hour visa policy?
