About:China Transit Visa

Do I have to request transit entry permit in China Embassy here in Indonesia, or in Shanghai?

Hi, I’m from Indonesia. I will spend 3 days vacation in Hong Kong, then I want to continue to Jeju.I have a flight from Hong Kong (HKIA) to Jeju, South Korea (CJU), Layover at Shanghai Pudong 12 hours.

Fitri, do you mean you will travel like HK-Shanghai for 12 hours-South Korea? If yes, you can use 24 hr direct transit and no need to apply for a visa for that.

But I’m planning to go outside from the airport..Is it allowed? Or maybe Immigration will not allowed?
