Does it mater how long I stay in the third country when leaving Shanghai on a 144 hour transit visa?

URGENT - when leaving Shanghai on a transit visa, does it matter how long I stay in the 3rd country?
Sorry for the URGENT and if this question is posted twice.... I can't see the first one. I need to book my flight within about an hour!

I want to fly UK>HK (50 minute stop)>Shanghai

The within 144 hours Shanghai>Doha>London

Does it matter how long I stay in Doha for? I have two options... 90 minutes stop over and 3 hour 30 minute stop over?

Are both of these options okay?
