About:China Visa Exemption

Thai passport holder, I hold a Thai passport and need to visit China for 2-3 days

do I need a visa or will I also be exempt under the 72 hour free transit? I will have a hotel booked for two nights but won't be staying over 72 hours
Thank you

You'll need a visa. Thais are not eligible for 144-hour transit.
