144 transit visa, I'm Ukrainian citizen

Going to travel to Hong Kong with transit in Beijing.
Let me know please if I can get 144 or 72 hour transit visa in BJ International Airport to spend some time in China?

If your route is A - BJ - B (A&B are international areas), the 144h visa-free transit qualifies. Therefore, you can certainly spend several days in China. The visa waiver allows you to go to BJ, Tianjin, and Hebei Province.
