I am travelling to the city in early September this year and  would like to take a taxi from Pudong Airport to Banshengdong Wharf on Shenjiamen Waterfront.

First of all, it is a long distance so hiring a taxi is not that easy. Anyway, here are the numbers of Dazhong and Qiangsheng taxi companies respectively, which are the most reputable ones in the city: 86-021-96822 and 86-021-62580000. To go to Shenjiamen by public transportation, you can take shuttle bus line 7 to South Railway Station. Then walk to the South Long-distance Bus Sation to take a bus to Putuo. Then take a taxi to the wharf with CNY15-20.
