About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK - Shanghaii - HK - UK

Hi I plan to travel to Shangaii for 4 days, then to HY for one night and then back to UK

Can I do this under the 144 visa or is the fact that I will only stay in HK for one night a problem?

Yes, you can. It doesn’t matter how long you stay in HK as long as are within the 144 hours in Shanghai.
