About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying into Shanghai and staying for 2 nights in a Shanghai Hotel

before boarding a cruise ship bound for Australia I am travelling on an Australian Passport Do I qualify for a 144 hour transit without visa in Shanghai

Lee, if the last port before Shanghai is Australia, and the next stop after Shanghai is not Australia, you are able to use the free transit then.
