About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Am I eligible for the 144 hr free visa transit?

I have a British Passport. I will be flying from London to Beijing, stay for 144 hrs , then travel from Beijing to Taiwan. Stay Taiwan in 2 days & then return back to London.
Am I eligible for 144 hr visa free transit?
