the expired date of the passport which will impact i get a travelling visa

The expired date is 14/08/2018 of my passport. I have a plan travelling China between 10/06/2018-22/06/2018, Are there any troubles to get a travelling visa?

Hi, I don't think it would be any problem if your current passport has a remaining validity of not less than 6 months when you make the application of tourist L type.
