Do I need visa or not?

I plan a trip from Romania to Taiwan and China Shanghai tan return to Romania.
I hold an Romanian passport so I am eligible for 144 hours transit in Shanghai but I'm not sure if I can apply at airport for this type.
My trip is starting from Romania and plan first 5 days in Kaohsiung, Taiwan than I plan to go by air from Taipei to Shanghai for otter 5 days (120 hours).
Do I need visa?

Hi, you are eligible for 144 hours free transit in Shanghai. No visa is needed.
