About:Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport

I'm a SA citizen traveling from Vietnam to Changchun and have a 21h layover at Shenzhen Airport.

Can I check in at a hotel and do I require to collect me luggage at the airport. If so, how do I go about doing this? Can I leave the airport?

So you will take an international to domestic transfer at Bao'an Airport? If so, you can certainly leave the airport and check in a hotel.

It is necessary to relaim the luggage there. The transfer procedures are as follows:
Arriving – quarantine -& inspection – immigration – collect luggage – customs check – check in – security check – waiting and boarding
