I am working in China and want to get a Hong Kong visa for travel

The first step is to prepare all the required documents including passport and its copy, a completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, residence permit in China, travel itinerary, round air tickets, the latest 3-month bank statement and other requirements. Next, submit the application to Shanghai office of HK government to apply for HK tourist visa.

Do you know how long does it cost, since I want to be there around 10th March. Afraid that not enough time so since Chinese new year is coming. :(

It may need 4 to 6 weeks for the application process. But I cannot guarantee that, you are advised to contact them to confirm this.
