144 free visa for a round trip flight

Question

I have a roundtrip flight from the US to shanghai with an arrival date on Feb. 20 with an outbound flight on Feb. 28.But, during that week I also have a round trip flight traveling from Shanghai to Hong Kong Feb. 26 and back to Shanghai Feb. 27.Am I still eligible for the 144 hr free transit?Is it possible to be granted a 2nd free transit with my Hong Kong ticket?What is the cost for the 144 free transit for a US citizen?
