About:China Visa

Transiting through China. Will I be eligible for Visa free travel?

Hi,
I will be travelling from Toronto(Canada) to Kolkata (India) on a Canadian passport.

I will be transiting Shanghai (2 hrs) and Beijing ( 48 hrs) and Kunming (7hrs) then onwards to Kolkata(India)

Hi, you are not eligible for free transit in mainland China. You need to apply for a transit G type for that trip in advance.
