About:China Transit Visa

Flying with China Southern from Manila to Frankfurt, with 2 layovers in Guangzhou and Changsha

My return flight from Manila to Frankfurt includes 2 layovers in Guangzhou and Changsha ("technical stop"). Layovertime in Guangzhou will be 1 hour and 20 minutes and layovertime in Changsha is 0 hours according to my booking. Do I need a visa?

Michael, you need to apply for a transit G type for this trip if you will transit in two cities.

Thanks for your reply, Jen. Do I also need a visa for my flight from Frankfurt to Manila which includes only a layover in Guangzhou?

If you only transit in Guangzhou, you will be able to use the free transit facility.
